After the risk assessment the material has to be classified into either a 'negligible' or 'non-negligible' risk category.

For FSC product groups covered by the FSC Regulatory Module, input material can only be used if the risk assessment indicates a 'negligible' risk.

In the case of a non-negligible risk: Refer to the information provided in the section "Risk Mitigation."

NOTE: The findings of meetings of Commission expert groups, as published in the European Commission’s expert group register, when conducting the risk assessment have to be considered.
