It is important to demonstrate and document how decisions on risk mitigation procedures and measures were made.

Consider sourcing materials directly from an FSC-certified forest or through an FSC-certified supply chain as a sufficient measure to mitigate risks. Note that this doesn't exempt organizations from implementing additional risk mitigation measures if new information arises or if concerns that could impact compliance with certification requirements become apparent.
